Simple but effective solutions

Sometimes it is necessary to place equipment and systems for conditioning outside the building. It is therefore necessary to both mask the view and ensure proper ventilation of the system. Fils expanded metal meshes are ideal for these features.

With an aluminum expanded metal cladding it was possible to achieve the set objective. Maintain the linear image of the building while protecting the equipment.

A very linear substructure of uprights and transoms has been prepared. Expanded metal mesh panels framed with a brick-colored aluminum C-edge were used to maintain the aesthetic reference to the bricks in the structure. The metal mesh is an aluminum Lucerna, 2 mm thick, painted for outdoors.

Here is the history of the intervention. The equipment was installed in a position outside the building resting on the original brick wall. The substructure was built with square section tubulars. Expanded metal mesh panels with a U-shaped profile and an alternate compositional scheme have been fixed to recall the arrangement of the bricks. The intervention was completed by a second 'twin' covering in order to give consistency to the front view.
